Product Description

UNIFIX – G is an aqueous based liquid of dimethylol ethylene urea formaldehyde to impart soft and wash-n-wear finishes on cotton and blends. It is a APEO/NPEO free product and conforms to Oeko-tex and REACH compliance as well.

How to Apply

UNIFIX G is used in padding from 50-100 g/l concentration according to desired finish on different qualities. For proper fixation of this resin 10% catalyst on the weight of resin is recommended. Magnesium Chloride and ammonium nitrate can be suitable catalyst. Catalyst should be added to the finishing bath at the end pre dissolved in water. UNIFIX-G can be mixed with all other types of water based resins, polyvinyl acetate emulsion, polyethylene emulsion, cationic and nonionic softeners, polyvinyl alcohol and acrylic polymers etc.

Application

UNIFIX-G can generally be applied by pading mangle and dried at 130°C followed by curing at 180°C for 1min.

Precautions when in use

1. Ensure that the UNIFIX-G solution is completely homogenous before using.
2. Clean inside of pad bath before applying this resin and keep the mangle clean during the process.

Storage and Handling

To ensure that the product quality is maintained, the container should be tightly sealed when not in use. Store at normal temperature, and prevent prolonged exposure to extreme heat or freezing condition, which may cause product separation. If separation does occur, thaw if frozen, stir the contents, and use in the normal manner.
